Project Tachyon

Project Tachyon proposes a scalability upgrade for the Zcash protocol: a new shielded pool that leverages proof-carrying data for high-bandwidth transaction aggregation and aggressive state pruning to cap validator state growth. Its architecture accommodates full post-quantum privacy by decoupling from the attached payment protocol. The project is led by Zcash cofounder Sean Bowe.
